Thinking back being on the mock trial team a few years back gave me some strange stories to tell people. Like a teacher handing me a couple hundred dollars and his teachers ID or that time I went to an R rather movie alone with a badass 30 something year old prosecutor.
One thing that I’ll never understand is people who pretend to like something to try to force themselves to like something for a friends sake. There’s just so many problems with it. If you feel like you’ll be better liked or accepted because if it then the friendship is crappy anyway. And if you’re the one that feels the need to do that then the other person is completely in charge as that sucks in a relationship. I almost appreciate the friends I have that have very different tastes than me cause it means that our friendship isn’t based on something so petty as liking the same shows, music or characters or whatever and it goes deeper. Also I hate people lying to me in any way shape or form. If you don’t like a character I love. Who cares. I don’t love you any less and it would be more of a problem if you tried to like them or pretended to.
